I remember when we first moved in to the house - we found a stone statue of a Buddha in the attic and in the outhouse, letters from a man in prison addressed to his family. These were remnants of the previous home, footprints of the previous tenants.

Always sat in the same position. On the far side of the couch, sometimes resting his leg on the coffee table...

1 Roch Crescent was a sound-based installation that explored ideas of home, forgotten space, grief and what we leave behind when we move on. It contemplated empty spaces and the traces that cling to them. The aim of the work was to create a feeling of a leftover space –a place filled with memories and occurrences but no residents anymore, no life forms, just remnants.
